I’ve seen a lot of things during my road trips since ~2002. But, I hadn’t seen this:
It was Saturday evening, 07/02/2011, in Englewood CO. We (Dave, Mickey and I) had just emerged from a restaurant after a delicious early dinner. As we made our way back to our vehicles, the pink Toyota caught my eye … but not in a good way, necessarily. Then, as I started walking past the pink Toyota, I spotted the baby blue Ford Pinto out of the corner of my eye. Imagine my shock. I couldn’t resist taking the picture and tried to do so as inconspicuously as possible. How often do you see either car in a parking lot, let alone parked directly in front of each other?
